A LETTER TO SIMONE
I gave you Life, I gave you Love You gave me joy to watch you grow I let you know I'm always here
To see you laugh or dry your tears.
You grew up and moved away
You said it was too hard to stay
I'd heard it all so long ago
Then from your Dad who loves you so.
And now that you've become a Wife
Then you will learn throughout your Life
That when a child is born to you
It's not a road without its thorns
And so I give this poem to you
As you walk the same road too
And when you give Life to a child
That you will seek and find its Love
To Simone on your Wedding Day 3rd May 2002.

TO MY HUSBAND BRIAN WITH lOVE
Our Love is Special an no-one can deny That we were meant to be Forever in Bloom
Like a Flower on a Tree.
I will always Love you
And you know that is true
Our love began a tiny seed
And blossomed to a Tree.
Today I love you more
Than anything on earth
Though I know you knew this
Right from the very First.
Our Wedding Vows were said
Right from the very Heart
So deep and strong within us
That it is here to Keep.
